Oftentimes yoga teachers enroll in 50 hour yoga teacher training to fulfill their continuing education requirements with Yoga Alliance, which is perfectly understandable. But a 50-hour YTT isn’t just about ticking off some boxes – it’s also an incredible opportunity to deepen your practice and broaden your knowledge of yogic theory and practice.
Cultivate Awareness with Trauma Conscious Yoga: Healing Through Mindful Movement
The YTT is designed to provide you with the tools needed to teach restorative yoga classes for students of all levels and ages. You will learn how to use different props, how to sequence a class and more. You will have one-on-one time to meet with your instructor and discuss your progress, questions or concerns throughout the course. You’ll also receive a comprehensive and robust digital PDF training manual that you can refer back to throughout the program.
This course is offered both in-person at DYC and online on our Teachable platform, live streamed, recorded and available for on demand viewing for 12 months. The YTT will be a 7-day intensive with some days being full length classes and other days being more focused, content rich sessions.
YTT participants will have lifetime access to the course materials and can work through the material at their own pace. However, it is recommended that you take the course within a year of your registration so that you can complete the program and be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200 teacher.
